St Andrews

Quiet Day

QUIET DAY BASED ON IGNATIAN SPIRITUALITY at St Andrews Church on Saturday 13th April 10am to 4.30pm.

An opportunity to create space just to be, time to spend communicating with God and listening to what He wants to say to you.

It will be based on a bible passage which is read prayerfully, imaginatively and meditatively in a time of quiet. You will be encouraged to enter into the passage and become one of the people actually there, to see, hear, smell, taste and feel what is happening and through that to listen to what God is saying to you individually.

There will be an opportunity to discuss what comes out of the passage for you if you feel you would like to.

You will need a bible and a notebook and pen, bibles are available in the church or bring your own preferred version.

You will need to bring a packed lunch, tea and coffee is provided.

If you think that all day is too long for you please come along for either the morning or afternoon session, either come at 10am till lunchtime or come at 1pm for lunch or at 1.45pm for the afternoon session.

There is no charge but you will need to book so we can plan for those coming, please either call Pam Kelsey on 07480125903 or 01493 658596 or email on tkelsey@btopenworld.com
